What God Reveals, He Restores: Gratitude in the Season of the Lamb

There are moments in life when you can pause, look back, and clearly see the hand of God.

This is one of those moments for me.

God has been so good to me.

He has revealed so much.
He has healed so much, within me and within my family.
And even though I know there are still areas He is gently working on, I am not discouraged… I am deeply grateful.

Because I can see Him.
I can feel Him.
And I know without a doubt, He is in me, and He is with me.

A Season of Gratitude, Not Striving

There was a time when I didn’t understand how to stop striving.
I didn’t understand how to rest in God while still growing.

But now I see something so clearly:

“He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion…” — Philippians 1:6 (NLT)

God is not rushing me.
He is not overwhelming me.
He is walking with me, step by step, layer by layer.

And every layer He reveals… He heals.

That is who He is.

The 11th of Nisan: The Lamb Is Being Examined

Today is the 11th of Nisan, and it aligns with Palm Sunday, the day Jesus entered Jerusalem as King.

“Look, your King is coming to you… humble, riding on a donkey.” — Zechariah 9:9 (NLT)

“Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!” — John 12:13 (NLT)

But what God is showing me is this:

This wasn’t just a celebration.
This was a presentation of the Lamb.

In Exodus 12, God instructed His people:

  • On the 10th of Nisan, select the lamb
  • Then examine it for several days
  • Make sure it is without blemish
  • Then sacrifice it at Passover

And here is Jesus…

Entering Jerusalem at this exact time,  being seen, questioned, examined, and tested.

Not by accident.
But in perfect alignment with God’s plan.

“Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” — John 1:29 (NLT)

What I See God Doing

As I sit in this moment, I realize:

God has been doing the same thing in my life.

Not in a harsh way…
but in a loving, refining way.

He has been:

  • Revealing hidden places in my heart
  • Healing old wounds I didn’t fully understand
  • Breaking patterns I didn’t know how to stop
  • Bringing truth where there were once lies

And instead of feeling exposed in fear…
I feel covered in His love.

Because I know this:

God does not reveal to shame, He reveals to restore.

Living in the Middle of Healing and Wholeness

I used to think healing meant arriving at a perfect place.

But now I understand:

You can be healed…
and still being healed.

You can be whole…
and still being refined.

And that is not weakness.
That is walking with God.

“Search me, O God, and know my heart…” — Psalm 139:23 (NLT)

Today, I don’t fear that prayer.
I welcome it. Because I trust the One who is searching me.

Gratitude Changes Everything

What I feel most today is gratitude.

Gratitude for:

  • What God has already done
  • What He is doing right now
  • And what He will continue to do

“Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things He does for me.” — Psalm 103:2 (NLT)

Gratitude has shifted everything in my life.

It has:

  • Quieted fear
  • Strengthened my faith
  • Kept me grounded in truth
  • Reminded me that I am not alone

This Is a Holy Season

The 11th of Nisan is a reminder:

We are in the days where the Lamb was being examined, right before everything changed.

Right before sacrifice.
Right before redemption.
Right before victory.

And I believe this is what God is doing:

He is preparing hearts.
He is aligning lives.
He is revealing truth.

Not to harm us…
but to bring us fully into freedom.

Prayer

Father, Thank You for everything You have revealed and restored in my life.
Thank You for Your healing, Your patience, and Your love.

Thank You for sending Jesus, the spotless Lamb,
who was examined, tested, and found without fault…
so that I could be made whole.

Search my heart and continue Your work in me.
Not in fear, but in trust.

I receive Your healing.
I receive Your truth.
And I choose to walk in gratitude.

In Jesus’ name, amen.
